Probably not a typical US HPDE. I would guess its an open lapping day in England?

How else do you win track day?

And yes, to the poster above, RHD cars are notoriously more difficult to drive due to the Coriolis Effect. That's why F1 uses single seat racers with the driver in the middle to avoid performance issues when driving in Brazil and Australia.
[I know you were kidding...at least I hope you were!]

^ interesting vid. It obviously can't rest an arm on the window sill, so no knob-points there...

i bet that Audi RS 7 would be a whole lot faster if the computer would just see-saw and jiggle the steering wheel going thru the corners.

Holy mother WTF. That was scaring to watch. felt like I was trapped in trapped Forza game. I bet he drives Forza ot Gran Turismo well set in "no damage" mode. I just hope he takes his pills before the next HPDE. I think there should be a limit to the number of time TC comes on in a damn AWD car. I guess we have to thank TC for not allowing him to kill someone else while putting his own life in danger. Hopefully the Kabob tasted awesome. Schmuck!

Fun thread to read on this exact topic; with people who were at the track that day including the McLaren driver and a friend of the GTR driver :

That GTR driver made me thing of this fine example of typical HPDE idiots. First, a high HP hack (Viper)...a solo'd intermediate driver. The second, a slow hack (Mini)...also a solo'd intermediate driver.

Texas World Speedway. It doesn't have much in looks, but is a great track to drive.

The old appliances off in the woods give the track some street charm you can't get anywhere else!
