Cal

I'll PM you Mark Williams phone number. If you can get a hold of him, he can get you in touch with whoever you need to.

Thank you, Cal.

Unfortuantely my 'urge' kicked in last minute, and it would be a big hassle for me to get myself organized and ready for tomorrow. Work is all over the place for me, and I should've planned it out way before.

I received Bruce's PM earlier, and I explained him the same thing already.

Sorry for wasting your effort, and I definitely wanna plan to attend a track event in the near future. Tracking is in my future for sure.

Thanks again.

Btw, congrats on finally........FINALLY getting that x-pipe, Dev!

It's about time!!

Autoscope Might Be a Better Choice....

...compared to Classic. There's one in Plano and the one Steve Fordam runs on Denton Tap just south of Love Field. The first time I met Steve (on a DFW AC drive), he asked me if I was DevJ . I'm pretty sure it was because of my red M3 as I think I'm like 1000 years older than DevJ.

Cost should be a bit lower, but still quality work.

Haha! Yeah, Steve's a really nice guy! I've spoken to him a few times about installing my short shift kit, but they close early on Saturdays I'll definitely talk to him about my xpipe and the dynos..

BTW, I've never actually met you in person so you should come to the lunch next month

Now That's a Drive

It's a 400 mi round trip (direct route) from the Rufe Snow starting point. There are some great roads between here and there (just don't know which ones they will take). My guess is that the lunch is at the Bluebonnet Cafe which is a great place. The 17th is my wife's birthday and the following weekend we're going on the BMWCCA tour to Hot Springs (http://www.lscbmwcca.org/forum/Topic10185-4-1.aspx). I think I better pass this one up.

The radios mentioned are the GMRS/FRS hand helds. They don't cost much and don't work very well, but are better than nothing.

Got off with a warning today...failure to use a signal and no front plate. The cop told me that my car looked great and how he wouldn't put a front plate on there either so...

It should be about like a BMWCCA drive organization and pace wise. The organizer has lead several 6speed drives.

As a reminder, here's the primer on BMWCCA drives: http://www.m3post.com/forums/showpos...4&postcount=17. The Marble Falls drive won't be the same, but it will be very similar.

Expect This One to Be Single Group

The organizer said that the longer drives usually don't attract many cars as the guys with the exotics don't want to rack up a lot of miles on them (kind of sad really).
