The red or blue would match a m-stripe theme interior. I'd take one of those colors.

I guess it would depend on exterior/interior color. Poll is up now, feel free to vote for your top 3 choices.

I'm kinda digging the Silver with my Speed Cloth and Carbon Leather blacked out interior and Alpine White exterior.

For you, first choice red, second choice blue.

For me? Nothing that really works with Bamboo Beige

I agree with you SG ext not so much, but, if you had LeMans or Monte Carlo blue exterior with bamboo, I think the blue seat with bamboo would look great!

Looks like a couple hundred people have checked out the thread but only 14 participated in the poll so far. Just take a few seconds and click on your favorite colored seat belt color!

you should get the performance steering wheel with the blue stripe and match that color. That'll be pretty awesome. BTW where are you purchasing these seat belts from? They do run pretty steep since its a safety factor. Pretty neat.

So here is the latest:

If you want to change the seat belt color.....

-You can give IND a call/email and get a quote(not for the faint of heart). This also included a 'core'(your seat belts).

-You can also buy a new OEM set front and back($461) from Tischer(what I did, see attached) and then send to IND or a certified seat belt repair shop to exchange the webbing while keeping all the OEM parts. This way you don't have to have your car down for several weeks while you get the webbing replaced with what ever color you choose and you also have the option to swap back to the black ones.

I am still waiting for the OEM belts from BMW 2-3wk back order. I will update when I get them in. All the part #s are listed below. I didn't know you could order 'gray' belts for the M3. If they look good I might just do a straight OEM swap.

****PART# Correction for FRONT belts per my local dealership that is doing the install.

1 72-11-7-284-364 RGHT FRONT UPPER BELT WITH FO: 721011
1 72-11-7-284-363 LEFT FRONT UPPER BELT WITH FO: 721011

Of course! Looks awesome on your car but I think if you get the BMW Performance wheel V1 with the yellow strip it could work on many other exterior colors too.

Well the silver M3 seatbelts just arrived from Tischer BMW. I think they look really good against the Speed Cloth and Carbon Leather interior. I know red or blue would definately stand out more but this is the only straight OEM swap available. As you can see all the appropraite factory safety tags are visible. Seems like a straight swap, maybe 8 bolts. The belt on the left is the rear and the one on the right is the front. I got all four and just need to decide if I am going to have the webbing replaced or not. I will update with pics after actual install.

I went with silver belts for black recaro seats. Looks good to me as well. Exterior color of my car also matches the belts.

So you've done the OEM belt swap already? Nice. I've just never heard or seen anyone do this before. Feel free to post pics, I'd like to see how it looks in you car. Did you do it yourself or have a shop do it with your seat install?
