I've tried reinstalling multiple times as well. My next step is getting wheels rebalanced - although steering was solid before installing the spacers. It's incredibly disappointing. |

I'm reporting back that I re-cleaned the hub and hub lip with a wire brush and brake cleaner. I mounted the spacer and while the wheel was in the air, I hand tightened the lugs, lowered the car and torqued to exactly 88 on the wrench. Seemed to help alot actually. Wheel doesn't vibrate at all like it used too. Much better now.
Does installation recommend torquing with the wheel off or on the ground? |

What is your recommendations on spacers? I want it flush, if at all possible, so I don't rub. Thanks.

When I was searching for an answer I couldn't find a definite answer so here is hoping my experience helps someone in the future. I am currently running 255/275 Michelin PSS and I tried putting on 15MM spacers on the rear and 12MM on the front and they BOTH rubbed on the front and on the rear. I then tried 10MM spacers on the rear and 10MM on the front and once again the BOTH rubbed when going over bumps or when turning at which time I just gave up and will probably buy new wheels in the future with the offsets I want.
Here it how it looked with 12MM on the rear and no spacers on the front: And here is where it was rubbing on the front: |

EAS Need spacers
E90 M3
Running H&R springs Front Lowering 1.0" Rear Lowering 0.6 Just put on APEX EC-7 wheels 19x8.5 245/35 ET20 (new Michelin S4S rubber) 19x10 275/35 ET25 So I figure I'm running -10mm offset from 220 stock wheels in front, and -3mm in the rear. But it sure looks like I still have a lot of room for say, 15mm spacer front and 12mm spacer rear. But I want NO rubbing and I'll periodically be running adults in the rear seat. So maybe 12mm front, 10mm rear???? But I'm still under the impression 10mm spacers don't properly allow hubcentric mounting??? Also don't want vibrations since I'll be running 140 at the track Thanks guys!!! |

The right front is rubbing already when turning to the right with some suspension compression. Its rubbing the bulge on the rear of the front right wheel (only) liner - I'm not sure what's behind that on the right side. I'd have to guess a spacer will only make that situation worse. Might be a combination of the 1" lowering and alignment, even though the fender lip looks like it could take a spacer. I could try to deform that bulge in the wheel well liner but I'm sure its there for something behind it. It does seem to move in a bit before it hits whatever its protecting. |

Have the alignment double-checked, or possibly look into the KW Sleeve kit, which will allow you to dial in the suspension height just where you want, giving you options for fine-tuning with spacers.
