If there's 20, there just has to be IR, LSB and PY.

Seriously, before the convertible is out (Sept. 2008), all options will stay exactly the same.

Richard Clarke at BMW Leeds has just emailed me specifically and stated, very clearly, that the new individual colours are avalable now and there are 20. Bear in mind my car isnt due till next summer though so it may be that he means he has the colour range and they can be selected but delieveries of cars with those colours may not be available yet. Dunno, ill email him back now and see what he says.

Best regards, south

Yes, would you please be so kind and tell us which colors exactly that half of the M3 consumers will not have the option of ordering?

It's no surprise that Individual Colours are available to order now, the surprise is that you're saying 20 colours, whereas the BMW page stats "only" 6. I'm impatiently waiting for the other 14. Thanks in advance...

Best regards, south

Fortunately, the base color choices are not bad at all--especially after seeing better pics of Jerez.

True. Forgot about that since I've pretty much written the whole interior off.

Should be getting mine at the turn of the year. This thread has just reminded me how nasty the standard headlining is. I hope alcantara is an option.

I like Fox red. When I said I wrote the whole interior thing off, I was referring to the geometry and the layout rather than the color. I just can't get excited about the interior of this car.

Yeah, it is what it is..... It should be more driver focused but it's not.

I do think though that with 400+ HP and smoooooth Novillo leather you might not feel as bad about it.....

I'm hoping the performance will make me focus on other things than the ugly dash.

in the history of individual they've never had that many individual colors. i'm very skeptical that they would now expand their range so drastically. what they have offered in the past though, is the ability to paint your car in any bmw color, even those not normally offered on your given model. my guess is that your dealer misunderstood the details.

it was also not too long ago that the new individual program literature/brochure was released (and posted in pdf form here in the forums) which clearly elaborated only the several individual colors that have been around for a while now, with no new additions. its not like bmw at all to release product information and then go back and make changes after the fact....

...that's more like something apple would do.
