Spacers - Can someone help?
Hello all..
I was hoping to draw on the experience of someone who has installed spacers on their M3. I have presently Hartge 19" by 8.5 F, ET 15 and 19 by 9.5 R, ET 22. I am looking for a slightly more custom look and to fill the wheel well visually somewhat and thinking putting 3mm on the front and 10 mm on the rear. I saw a photo of another poster's car that had 15 on the front and 12 on the rear on stock 19" which I thought was beautiful. I believe the stock set up ET is 29F and 23R. So is my math correct - will this work anybody with a similar set up to one I am proposing? Do I have to worry about rubbing - vibration ?

Rear is correct (within a couple mm). I wouldn't use a spacer on the front. You will effectively have a 14 mm (29-15) spacer with that wheel compared to the stock wheel. You can also play around with this calculator:
