motor and transmission mounts

Hey guys, was just curious to see if anyone has used the revshift engine and transmission mounts. I like the 95 hardness as this car will be a dedicated track car in a year or two. Is the NVH on something this hard unbearable or is it not all that bad? Thanks for any input.

L

P.S. I am aware solid mounts will be best for a dedicated track car but until then it will be my daily. I can use these stiffer ones for track days and driving daily until I get a new car.

Revshift does not have a great reputation in the E36 community. Why don't you consider Powerflex, Vorshlag, Bimmerworld, AKG, Rogue, Vibra Technics or stock Corteco? Beware most stiffer bushings transmit more NVH. Not all, but it is a common complaint. I tried Rogue and changed to new stock Corteco due to added NVH. SVT Shadow tried Bimmerworld and did not like them for street use. I think your idea of 95A durometer is probably good, but until you read from someone who has tried that hardness, beware.

Vibra techich engine mounts are pretty awesome, loved mine since day 1. Trans mounts are pretty hard to find for this car though as uses different design than the rest, rectangle instead of round.

I have the street Vibra-technics and they are great, plenty comfortable on the street.

i have the vibra technics and they are great. it has been my experience that transmission mounts generally don't wear much and if you go to a firmer mount, you'll get a lot of noise/vibration. trans moutns are generally only used for track only cars.

Softer one, but you get PLENTY of feedback with it. You will never doubt you got aftermarket mounts, much more connected feel.
