But I still love my car

  1. Rattles (only have a couple)
  2. Brake dust
  3. Flashy chrome kidney grills
  4. Big orange bumper reflectors
  5. Inclusion of a cigarette lighter and ashtray
  6. Plastic sun visors
  7. Shift boot and knob are one piece
  8. Doors do not auto unlock when car is shut off
  9. Glovebox too small to fit the manual
  10. Driver's side window controls are a bit too far away
All but #9 and #10 can be changed. Then it will be nearly perfect.

However, I can live with 5, 6, and 8.

That window thing is a PITA. I'm always hitting that rear window when I want the front.

I only hate 2 things about this car.
1. Everything associated with parking and taking care that someone will not vandalize and/or ding it.
2. It is essentially a weekend car for me because of the above reason and others. Can't afford to park in a garage everyday at work. Too tired to drive afterwork most days. Wish I were driving it more.

I hate the fact that I have to wash it at least twice per week to curb my OCD!!!!

If the M3 wasn't so fantastic to drive and look at it, this wouldn't be a damn problem.

+1

I'm surprised there is not a "M Performance Accessory" "Window control lever extender" available for $85.00.

Easy for me - always worrying about it when parked anywhere.

Also, not really related to this car but for some reason it has always rained within 1 week of getting it washed/waxed (which is more difficult living in NYC). My car has been clean a total of 6 days which is a shame b/c of how great Jerez Black looks.

Haha, that window problem for you guys must just be for E90-ers. My E92 never has that problem .

I agree with the glovebox - MAKE THE MANUAL FIT!!

1. I dislike that I have to manually lock the door. On my vette it just locked itself after I got out.
2. I miss valet mode.
3. Why oh why can it not remember to start up in S4 but it can remember D4? Makes no sense to me.

Brake dust from the stock pads (not gonna replace them until it's needed)

That's probably my BIGGEST complaint. One drive after a detail and they are already turning gray/black again... I put wax on the wheels, just makes it easier for the stuff to come off, but still, ugh.

While I hear you even if it did fit do-dad storage is at a real premium in this car and I would not leave it in there anyways in favor of more used items. Particularly when you can put the pdf on your phone and get to the information more quickly anyways.

Both of these for me. Always stressful leaving it parked in public (thankfully it's only been spit on twice and nothing worse). Because of that fear, I rent garage space a 1/4 mile from home– which also deters impulse drives. Doesn't help that my new job is also a 1/4 mile the other way from home, so I never get to drive it anymore

Beyond that, I've got no beef with the car
