A vendor screwed up twice - once sent wrong shape and once mixed up the timing for the correct shape availability. I think I found another set somewhere in Eastern Europe. I may be home-made, but they swear the specs are right

I guess you need to keep a spare set at all times. Common Max, it's not rocket science. Even if you are getting rid of the car soon... you'll sell the pads to the future purchaser of your car.

You make too much sense - where is the fun in that? Actually, I had a reserve set with 3/4 of the pad left, and managed to kill them in two days I used them this year. I guess Pagid 9-2 is not a track-friendly compound.

I have Alcon kit. Very happy with it but pads are tough to find. I have just found some Porsche Cup pads that have 99% matching shape and are widely available at nice price - if I had any DIY skills, I'd just file off some metal and use those. |

I'd like to leave Toronto by 10am latest, there are some nice roads through the Hamilton mountains, then hit the border and a bit of interstate, then lots of fun in the finger lakes region. For those of you doing CMP on Sunday, I assume you will just go straight south instead of coming all the way back via Hamilton? Let me know who all wants to join! |

Here's a bit of video from one of my sessions back on April 28th. Ran a best time of 2:27.58, but my theoretical best was 2.25.x.... Arghhh!
I'm planning to go up again on June 22, and then again July 6-7. So who's coming with me in July!? |
