new to me 2008 e90 M3 Alpine White Bamboo biegh KW sleeve kit on stock 18s
I have been on this forum for 5 years now. I remember the first time I walked into the dealer and saw the m3 in 2008 I knew this was the car for me. I bought a 2007 335i, back a few years, then sold because I got married, then bought a house, then had a baby (not me of course but my wife)... Finally I was ready to come back, and was almost swayed away by a used M5, new 335i sedan, a new Audi S4, and other cars but I always found myself on this forum drooling over all the M3's, and realized there was no substitute (to borrow from porsche)... Bought this car from another forum member sight unseen then had it shipped from Georgia to Texas because there were absolutely no M3's for sale in the Central Texas area. Car showed up as advertised, looks almost brand new and I feel I got an amazing deal!!!... Thanks Lucas! Anyways, Its Alpine White, with Bamboo Beigh, Premium, Tech, and it has KW sleeve kit, and 2nd cats removed. I think I like the way it looks with gun metal 18's, like a club racer, but may swap them out down the road. Plans to get carbon fiber splitters, grills, roundels, and color matched reflectors....

Thanks!
Yeah houses are huge in Texas.. We miss Cali but Texas is awesome for young families.. In the bay area I could have got a 1 bed condo for the same price as I paid for my 2700 sf house with 4 bedrooms.. Thanks for the nice comments.. Can't wait to start modding

Congrats!! And out of curiosity, what pushed you away from used M5 or S4 towards the M3? I often have similar dilemmas!

I decided to stay away from the M5 because there are really only a few 6 speeds built, and the choices are limited.... 6 speed was a must have for me.. There are also horror story issues of smg failures, valve issues, and overall more expensive to service then the M3... seems like the m3 had a lot less issues... The S4 and 335i were just too pedestrian, and lacked style.. The s4 and A4 look very similar, I test drove them all, and although the M5 was awesome, I just did not like the overall size of it.
Yes I did just buy this off the forum... this is a great place to buy from people who love and take care of there cars... |

IMHO, for the kind of money these cars are going for now, I just don't see anything else that can compete againt the E9x M3 to be completely honest. Congrats again!
