Talking 324 km/h (201mph) stock m3

Hey guys,
Just curious if anyone managed that speed in a stock m3. My car has the optional M driver's package and that is it. When I first got the car it ran till 309 km/h and after 10,000 km it felt so much faster and it'll go all the way to the redline (not that sure if it hit the redline cuz everything was happening so fast but I'm 90% sure it did).
So what is the topspeed you guys reached in your delimited m3 and what do you think about mine? I never had the guts to go that far again afraid that I'll damage the engine I go all the way to 321 km/h and step off the gas but anyways thats really impressive cuz my friends carrera s doesnt pass 311 km/h and its more aerodynamic.
Anyways thanx for reading.

If you factor in a 5% speedo error, you're right at 187 mph and I think the highest limit BMW has is 186, so that sounds about right

+1, doesn't seem possible. Would love to see the video though. Wikipedia has this:

Top Speed: 161 mph.[25] (electronically limited) Delimited: ~290 km/h (180 mph)+

Hamada Pasha, I lived in Alexandria for years..didn't know there are streets/Hwys in Egypt that can support 300K/H..But if I remember correctly, the penalty for such a high speed ticket was just a money fine but no suspension or jail.. And it was very reasonable fine too, something like $30 at that time, may be it's $50-60 now. I remember vividly an older guy who had a fleet of sport cars (including Bugatti, Ferrari, ...,.. at that time and most recently got the Audi R8) used to drive fast on Alex-Cairo Hwy and pay his way out of every speed trap..good ol days
Also in Egypt there isn’t (or at least there wasn’t) car insurance. You wreck, you pay cash. So a speeding ticket had no consequences.

Yeah there is no insurance on imported cars "gomrok" and that crazy guy your talking about is Micheal Ohod. If you are familiar with Alalmien road that is where u can go as fast as u like cuz there's no speed cameras and the road is pretty straight and empty, even if caught they'll probably let u go with a 200 L.E. fine which is about $40.

Yep that’s his name. He lived in the same street with us and I saw him on almost daily bases (with young chicks) The lucky bastard had;
Platinum Bugatti
Testarossa
Yellow Lamborghini Countach
Black Corvette (not sure which class) that he used for “grocery shopping”
A looong white antique car
All at the same time. He used to go fuel from Alex airport using jet fuel.
Anyway, glad you’re enjoying your M3 there. Stay safe

Yeah he's lucky specially now cuz he's fleet just keeps growing. I've been missing my car for the last 3 months and waiting for it to come home. We have stuiped laws here inorder for my car to stay with me always i have to pay 321% TAXES which if u chose not to pay u have the car for six months and the other six it sits in a hanger in the airport. :@

i remember once i was in Agami, and i saw him in his Bugatti.
now that's a rare sight in any country!
it was silver if i recall

best thing about Egypt is no points on your license
you just have to drive about 1 week till you get your proper license back, and drive with the receipt they gave you when they took your real one.

and insurance companies don't share information.
so if you get kicked out of one company, you just go to company B who will gladly accept you
ah the good old days

Guys you make me feel like its heaven here and i am sitting here dreaming of living in the US. Land of opportunity
but i think with the way I drive I wouldn't last a couple of days driving most probably ill end up in prison or on a plane back home. BTW if any of u guys wanted to come to egypt with your cars they'll make u pay around $200,000 taxes so the best cars we have here are locally assembled 5 series which are about $55,000 for a 523i

last i heard the M3 costs 2 million egyptian pounds
that's $342,000 US dollars
i paid $58,000 for my brand new one in 2008

trust me, i live here, there is much more oppurunity in Egypt than here.

i probably know the way you drive
i have 2 reckless and 2 speeding tickets so far
haven't tried to bribe any police officers here, that usually works in Egypt

When I first came to the US I used to drive as I did back in Egypt thinking that a speeding ticket is nothing but a money fine. And I also thought a 75mph ticket is the same as a 110mph ticket and I was driving 95-110mph on the hwy. Thank god I didn't get caught for 2 years till friends told me about points, suspension and jail. Since then i don't drive more than 8 miles above speed limit. To get the speed out if my system, I go to the track (not as much as I wish thought). If you ever considered coming to the US I encourage you, it's not only the land of opportunities more importantly it's the land of JUSTICE. nobody is above law. Just today the court in Illinois told Rahm Manuel the ex white house chief of staff "SORRY you can't run for Chicago mayor position, you haven't lived here last year". Now that's impressive.

I plan to be in Egypt in 2012, but the car stays in the US.

Hey Mido, is that the first M3 in Egypt? I was born in Egypt too, but grew up in Seattle. I would be scared of the crazy bus drivers and the haters there. It's hard having a nice car in Egypt with all the dinged up cars around you. I am freaking out in the States when someone stops behind me and I can't see their lights visible in my rear view mirror. I can only imagine what state I will be in driving my M in Egypt with the crazy traffic and other cars coming within inches of your car, in your lane trying to move up in front of you. Not to mention motorcycles. Good luck. So, you bought your car in Egypt or in the USA? Is it US specs or Middle eastern specs? would love to see pics of the inside and options, bro. Enjoy it.
