I don't think you meant to imply that we should be texting at the track.

I know that every time I text or play Angry Birds, my laptimes really suffer.

Within 3 months of buying my M3 I totalled it (non fault). I was in your same situation, I was considering other cars but I ended up buying the exact same car, even the same color!! Only difference was my first M3 had extended black leather, second one has Fox red non extended. Can never go wrong with Fox red.

Totally. Last time I texted on the track, my time went down by 3 seconds. Multi tasking on the chicane was mucho difficult

Pat... sorry man.. I loved that car.. extended red with pretty much every option, it doesn't get any better. I saw his car the day after... lets just say it closely resembled my late E60 M5....

A pic of both our cars next to eachother the day before the accident to serve as a memory:

PS: I think you should go F10

Glad you're ok bro, and you are very lucky to walk away without a scratch. Good thing you're seriously considering another M car, the X6 is a fail in my book (especially the i35!).

*touch wood* I wouldn't mind [safely!!!!] totalling my M3 (preferably in late June) because that would mean that I could get a 6MT and do European Delivery again.
I've been considering ordering another E92 M3 just do do another Euro Delivery... Of course I've wanted to do another ED since the moment that I stepped out of BMW Welt.

I must say that over the past couple of days, when i think fo the impact - I realize just how lucky I was to not get hurt at all AND, most importantly, that I also did not hurt others. Definitely had an Angel watching over me. I'm a pretty safe and defensive driver on the road, never road race and drive "at a distance" all the time. But despite all that, it still happened to me. I do not wish this experience upon anyone and hope that if there is anyone that does speed out there, text messages while driving, occasionally drives above the limit - Keep it on the track
Good choice BUT the Red Extended leather is HAWWWWT! Can't you do an interior swap with your totaled car? assuming it didn't catch on fire.
