Review: The 2012 Audi S4 can more than hold its own against the BMW M3

http://www.tflcar.com/2012/03/review...he-bmw-m3.html

I only read it 'cause it mentioned the M3 in the title. Nada in the actual article itself. That's not right!

I thought I'd seen some bad car reviews, that is by far the most shit review I've ever read. The writer mentions the M3 in the title, but then goes on to say, "While quite fast, the S4 is a picture of docility in town. Steering is firm and quick, and handling is sharp, although not quite in the BMW 3- Series class." As you said, OP, "That's not right!" So why mention the M3 in the title, but not in the article? SEO purposes.

He also didn't add an apostrophe after 3-Series. It should read, "... in the BMW 3-Series' class."

So yeah, I give that review absolutely ZERO stock. Not only was it a terrible review, they also attached a horrible video review of the Volvo S60 R-Design. The S60 and the S4 have almost nothing in common.

And before anyone gives me shit for saying what I did, I'm a real automotive writer/journalist. I actually review cars, not just throw 500 words together and call it a review. Although Dan has written good pieces before, the ones on TFLCar and his own personal website are just poo...

The writer of that article should not give up his day job. That was one horrible review.

Weird at best. SEO doesnt really even make sense, doesnt mention M3 anywhere else in the body or meta. Probably just to make a bunch of M3 owners read it I give it my strongest "meh" rating.

Why write an article like that and never use the word M3? In addition, who writes a car review and omits any and all objective performance data?

Well, there are a few different ways to do SEO. One important way is in the title. Keywords in the title are very important to get the article picked up faster by Google.

If you search in Google: "Audi S4 BMW M3" in that exact way, you'll see that the review is the last post on the first page of the Google results. Sad...

And this dude has reviewed countless cars? More than any other auto journalist in the country? What a joke. I can do his job for less. Even the images don't match. The 1st one shows the re-design headlights and then the 2nd one goes back to the old headlights.

Yup, a true auto journalist already

He had to use a reference to the M3 in the title just to get people to read it. Can you say "bait and switch"!

Nah, its a keyword gambit used to increase search hits and the order of relevance. Becoming all too common.

you think that's bad, watch those car reviews by CNET...

They called the Evo 9.... "Evolution I-X" as in "eye, ex". Yeah they sure as hell know what they're talking about, true car enthuists indeed.

I think they used the roman numerals. IX = 9.

I meant, they didn't realize "IX" are roman numerals and actually said "eye" "ex" in stead of "nine".

It's like a sports announcer calling Robert Griffin III, Robert Griffin eye-eye-eye.
