No Performance Delivery for Me....

Just got an email from my dealer telling me that I won't be able to get a spot at the plant in SC until sometime in May, when my car is getting here mid-march. Oh well. He told me we could schedule the same thing, minus the delivery, sometime later this summer. Apparently some people from BMW are doing a driving school there during April.

Yes, I posted earlier a communication from the Performance Center that they are doing virtually no deliveries during April because of various dealer events. But, it is not possible to do the free Performance Driving session there separate from delivery.

I told my dealer to see if he can find a spot in March for me, we'll see. He said he'd get back to me today.

My dealer checked this morning, and the earliest opening for PCD is on May 5th.

That's not a good sign! I enrolled for PCD for april also but have not heard back yet from my SA. I might also forgo it if I have to take delivery in May. My car is finished production now and originally supposed to be delivered March 30th.

Same here, no way to get it in before without delaying delivery....though I sort of concluded I'd do without it anyways because I wanted to clear bra + tint the thing before I drove it any extended distance....

speaking of which, i asked for some advice about clear bra in the mods forum but no one goes there
