Aftermarket seat pic thread

Pics and links for your track/street setup?

Looking at some seats not sure how to figure out of it's going to be lower or not
Strongly prefer reclining but if a 1pc will be another inch+ lower I'll go w that and mount straight to floor. I'm only person to drive car so distance adjust isn't important

Here's a pic of my pole positions. I have sliders installed on mine but it should be almost an inch lower without them. Even with sliders they sit lower than stock.

I had recaro sportsters in my E90 and they were the best mod I ever did to the car.

They sit about an inch lower than stock depending on your floor mounts, possibly more.

Highly recommended.

I'm not sure what direction I want to go here. I want to avoid leather if I can and go alcantara. Like to have both seats and mounts done for 1800$ or less. I will install my own heat element like I did on my KTM 1190R. Can't even tell she's in there and will melt you. Also nice to have it only on the back since I use it for my kidney issues and not on the butt.

I have a 32in waist and 155lbs 6ft1 I fit in factory gt3 rs seats but I would like something a size bigger since it is a street able car after all. Not intending to use w a harness of any kind

Don't want to go w any of be bride knock offs or anything mega cheap that's for sure

So I ordered some momo seats and sparco mounts and they sent me the ones that have like 30 holes in em so there highly adjustable they don't even come close to mounting up to the holes in the floor as they aren't long enough....

Everything is being returned

My drive to work is only 15mins so it isn't to bad haha. For me i have no issues with the seat for daily driving but a lot of my passengers complain about getting in and out of the seat.

How is vinyl or leather holding up on your setup? did you prefer one over the other?
Does it get that nasty leather shine after use and is it pretty durable?

Vinyl was great. Sold the seats, but they held up and felt great! Better than leather to a certain extent.
