My new incoming E92 M3
Figured it was time for me to post my I'm waiting, and waiting, and waiting, and woe is me "my Em Three is not here yet" thread.
Managed to secure one of the last ~8 incoming US-spec E92 M3's scheduled to be produced. VIN issued this past Thursday (6/13). Yay! Here's my spec: Alpine White Fox Red/Black/Black ZCP Competition Package ZPP Premium Package 2MK M Double-clutch Transmission with Drivelogic 326 Rear spoiler deletion 494 Heated front seats 4MY Carbon Leather interior trim 688 Harman Kardon surround sound system Z06 Black Kidney Grilles Z10 Performance Exhaust Z21 Carbon Fiber Mirror Caps Z22 Carbon Fiber Rear Spoiler Z2F BMW M Perf Steering Wheel We tried securing the Black GTS Wheels (359) from the factory for this build, but weren't successful. Many thanks to Adam at BMW Seattle for all his help. I realize I don't have the car yet, but, so far, he's been fantastic to work with. Quick responder. Easy to communicate with over email. And, most importantly, he's very direct and doesn't beat around the bush. Will keep this thread up to date as I get more updates. Last edited by GreenLantern; 06-15-2013 at 08:03 PM.. |

Thanks.
At the time, when I jumped on this, that was the number of remaining modifiable allocations across the entire US. As far as I'm aware, BMW's not dishing out any more E92 allocations (and hasn't been for a little while now). If I'm not mistaken, as of today (Saturday), I can no longer modify my car. If anyone's looking for an alloc, I think Adam has a second one available. And, I know of 3 others that are not yet spoken for. PM me, and I'll put you in touch. |

Thank you all for the congrats. Looking forward to her arrival. Still got a little while, I'm afraid, but I'll definitely be posting pics once I take delivery. |

And... *finally* she's on a ship.
Grand Venus (I'm willing to bet all remaining US-spec E92 M3's are on this ship as mine was waiting at the port for a few weeks while E92 M3 production wrapped up.) |

Can't beat (for me) classic white with black/red interior.
But, I did strongly consider picking up the barely used (850mi) Java Green one that BMW of North Scottsdale had discounted by $20k off MSRP. I probably could've gotten it for much lower as it wasn't moving for a while (it sold a week+ ago). |

Looks like she's been on the water since 7/7 with an ETA to the Panama Canal of 7/21.

I may have secured the last E92-US M3. Mine started production 2 days before the last E92-Euro M3. 06/28. Will get it in Mid August. |

Yeah, too bad about the black wheels. It's easy to resolve afterwards, I just didn't want to end up with a spare set of wheels that I have to worry about selling. What's your spec? |

So are you in Seattle or CA? Seattle area BMW dealers are not known for their "deals". Do you feel you got a fair price? Nice build, that's for sure!
