Angel eyes turn off when you start your car

So when I unlock the car with the remote the angel eyes come on. I noticed that when I get in the car and push the start button, the angel eyes turn off during the engine start and then they would come back on. Is that normal or I have an issue with the battery? I thought they stay on during that?
