I personally hate that sh*t too...most of the time they do it just to piss us off.

I know a lot of us do this, park far away so nobody will park next to us to avoid door dings etc. Nothing to do with being snotty, I do it with all my cars to save from headache later on. The exercise helps too. lol

My friends do the same too. Park like a mile away but still got dents. I never pay attention whos parking beside me. Just find the spot and park it.Have my car for 2 years, not a single dent on my car. Park my car 5 days a week in a crowded parking lot

...I don' t have any dents either parking far away, but received a few parking close by in the past with my previous cars. All depends on your luck I suppose.
