Which Stereo Setup Do I Have?

Is there an easy way to tell which setup I have? I bought the car used, and I believe it's a Premium Package...but, I forgot. Haha

Also there's no labeling on any of the speaker grilles...so, I'm just wondering if there's any surefire way to tell.

My amp is on the way out, and it appears there were a few different options.

Thanks!

If you look at the speaker grills (the main ones on the doors), are your speaker diaphragms that are visible through the grill black or gold in color? If they are black, then it?s the standard system. If they are gold , then it?s the premium sound system .

As far as I can recollect , premium package did not include the premium sound system ( at least for MY 2011 and 2012). Premium sound system was an additional option that you had to add.

Of course, all of the above is considering that the previous owner/s left the factory system untouched. Hope this helps.

I do not know the manufacturer that Bmw has used for their premium systems during that time.

Harmon Kardon is the premium sound manufacturer.
