GT4 Akra race xpipe

How loud is Akra GT4 or paired with a catless res less xpipe? I have heard it only outside a few months back but forgot how it sounds and of course youtube video doesnt do justice...

1. Is it ok to daily
2. Any drone?

Does sound loud although that's with a much louder muffler than the Akra.

Jimmy always sniffs me out.

We do have a supercharged M3 here with Akrapovic slip on with the GT4 Akrapovic xpipe. Will try to get a video sometime this week once we get an approval from our client.

The GT4 xpipe is completely hand welded and very light. The GT4 xpipe you receive from Akrapovic has no cats or resonators.

Volume would be similar to having an Eisenmann Sport with a Challenge Race+ xpipe. Which is the same setup on Green Hell M3.

Im sorry but IMO that sounds like shit. If it sounds that raspy revving just imagine what it will sound like under load?!? Unless its a full blown race car driven at full kill all the time this exhaust makes no sense. The rasp just makes it sound like a Honda rice burner...I would hate to have this setup on a DD

have you heard of the EVO AKRA ... they sound almost the same... its just a matter on how LOUD is the AKRA GT4 which im assuming is just a volume..

the Video sounds like its an AKRA EVO but louder. a little tad raspy but not a big difference between the evo...

I had the EVO on my last M. I personally hated the hollow sound of it. I also tried the Dinan mid pipe with the Akra mufflers and liked that a lot better than the EVO. On my new M I had the catless/resonator less RPI GT x pipe paired with a few different muffler setups and they were all really raspy and sounded bad. I have since added a set of resonators to the x pipe and it dramatically cleaned up the sound; I would go as far as saying another set is in order!

If I was building a gutted, weight wennie race car the GT4 might be cool but other than that i'll pass thanks.
