I'm in Central Texas, it's about 70 and sunny right now. We pay for our mild winters with scorching summers, though!

Fantastic! I'm thinking hard about getting back into a E93 before they stop production. I would like either the azurite or lemans blue over rust with a leather upper dash and deviated stitching throughout. How do I do order such a thing?

*Almost* anything is possible on approval from BMW Individual...talk to one of the forum vendors to get the ball rolling. I went through David Aviles at Northwest BMW, it was a great experience and a straightforward process. Be prepared to wait as the approval process can take a little while.
If you go Individual paint and interior, it's not difficult to get approval unless you're looking at a very rare paint, an interior they haven't crash-tested or Euro-spec options. I haven't seen a full leather upper dash, but if they approve it be prepared to shell out as 'special' options don't come cheaply. Deviated stitching is pretty costly as well. I wanted a Performance (alcantara w/ blue stripe) steering wheel covered in full black leather and M stitching like the regular steering wheel...they approved it but I passed due to the $3,450 price tag. |
