Thank you. I am going to look if they can do this here in Germany, otherwise will have to order from US and have a local wrapper install it.

Did you wrap your FG with the Xpel? I have the Xpel (normal clear bra) on my wife's X5 and I like it.

Lol at the pic. I hope I won't be like that. But from what I seen, it is not hard to maintain the frozen colors. My friend has a Frozen Grey M3 sedan (one above in pic) and it is easier to keep clean than regular glossy paints.

Yup, I wrapped the entire front end, side mirrors, door cups, door sills and the top center of the rear bumper in Xpel Stelth. I also had the headlights wrapped in reg clear film too. You can't tell it's been wrapped! It doesn't affect the color or look of the FG. Check out my post I have pics of my car after the wrap. http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=586290

what does IRL mean?

Anywho, i've seen numerous cars down here in so. fla with it..

murci's etc.. I just feel there are better matte colors out besides black.

Thank you! I think it was more than that since I purchased the car through military sales with set discount and additionally we don't pay the gaz guzzler and no taxes too. They also throw in free home shipping back to US.

It might be the true for matte black that is played out, since most do vinyl wrapping. This is Frozen Black. It has more of a satin finish. It still sparkles at certain angles. The full name is Frozen Black Metallic.

I know what you mean about the people from the M/Individual Division here in Germany. They are all professional and know their stuff to the very little detail. actually i didn't meet phillipp or brian. when i was there in december of last year i met christian and christine (of course). i'm still in contact with christine to this day. she's amazing. i'm not sure if you knew but she actually left her post with bmw M and works for BMWNA. I'm glad she was able to make it happen for you. She has a way of doing that.

Completely agree with your statement. Someone in my housing complex has a 528i wrapped in matte black, not great in person. I have never seen any of the frozen colors in person, but from the pictures it looks signifantly different, more metallic as you said, than the flat or matte black.

Also I love your M3 and your color combo. I actually was on US ebay last week and there were 2 frozen black m3s on, which was incredibly surprising. I believe that they were new models, but their prices had been increased from msrp!

edit: I just checked and they're both gone!

Gave her a first car wash with SwissVax Opaque Car Bath today. Last weekend installed 12mm Macht Schnell spacers (thanks IND). Added OEM Special Edition front grills. MS Stage 2 Intake is on the way, and tint on Wednesday. Debating between Akra slip-on or Evo.
