and it arrived at my dealer yesterday
so it's realtime, i guess
i mean if they manage to update it on a sunday

car arrived at dealer Friday and website didn't change until this morning........

My guess is mine changed status Sat mid-day after I had checked (Sat morning), not on Sun, but I could be wrong. The only thing I know for certain is it did not update on Fri which is the day we took delivery of the car.

I have a burning question for anyone who took delivery of their car. If you have BMW Apps... where the heck do you put your sunglasses!?!

we just had a tornado here, got delayed, the driver was coming from Chicago which 2 hours away, should drop my car some times tonight

I am in the same boat as you are. I got mine the last week of october and it also is in the 373XXXX category. You should have a production week assigned. Whom did you order it from??

Hehe, there is a mod for an ashtray delete, but it looks like a huge pain in the butt. Looking for another option. Can probably drop them in the side of the door, but that sounds like a potential rattle nightmare...

they didn't finish the PDI yet
when i took the pics it hadn't entered the service center yet
it was just parked in the BMW garage
and believe it or not
i'm selling my 08 on wednesday so its perfect timing

It looks like you also have to remove the DCT and pop off the entire center console in order to get to the front ashtray module?

not sure about DCT
but on mine (6MT)
i pop off the gear knob boot (not the knob)
i twist it so i can lift up the entire center console
its kind of twisted diagonaly
unplug connector for Power/EDC/DSC button
and viola the center console is removed
then you just unscrew the 4 scews holding the ashtray
i think they are 15 torx
you do lose the cool light inside the ashtray, and the power outlet
but its more space

Doesn't sound too bad. I may have to keep that in mind for a little DYI. How many parts are needed? Sounds like 2? compartment and lining or is that all 1 part?

I got mine used from the forum
But yes it's 2 parts
Th lining removable and washable
