I can pick up on Saturday, but I'm flying out of town and wont return until Wednesday night, so I wont be able to pick up until next Thursday. Thats fine by me, as long as I know it's finally here.

This community and this thread rocks. From getting the EPA contact info, to reaching out to CA's and VPC people to posting clearance paperwork, I'm truly impressed by the enthusiasm, smarts and espirit de corps from this community.

Hope all you enjoy your cars to the fullest! I know I will!!!
Congrats man. Hope it was worth it!

Just talked to Jimmy (GOLFRR) and he confirmed that the loyalty and finance credit *can* be combined. The CS folks at BMWNA apparently don't know what they're talking about... as they're not the finance folks.

I asked the finance mgr and also the new car sales mgr both said you could. So we got to think they know what they are talking about.

I wouldn't see why you wouldn't anyways due to the 1k mission drive being one promotion and the 1k incentive being something totally different. Maybe certain models won't let you combine the 2 which would confuse people.

Does this apply to leases?

Yes-leases

Congrats guys and pics are a MUST or don't bother coming back and posting anything Love new car pics, brings back the memories of that first time sitting and driving away in the m3. I had never even driven one (any 3 series) when I bought mine and was quite a fun drive home and then another 6 hours straight drive. I finished 1200 miles in 2 days so that may tell you something

Hi Everyone, I'm really happy to see the 2012's moving! According to my CA, the ship carrying my vehicle should have arrived today in GA. Hopefully the backlog at the port is easing and they can get it on a truck to my dealer quickly. The initial email they sent me said it would be in "port processing' for 3 - 4 more weeks from today :-(. I was supposed to take PCD, but that seems like a really long wait as well. I don't have too much more time in the states before my next military deployment...I don't know if I can bear to leave without seeing her!

Anyway, congrats to those who are taking delivery finally...it seems you have endured a longer wait than I have at this point. Hopefully I'll be able to share pics/driving experiences with you all soon. BTW, this is the first car I ever purchased that I haven't test driven...this board and countless YouTube videos are my only frame of reference. I'm sure I have no idea what I'm in for ;-)

Called my CA and it's still showing up as on a truck on his computer. Going to talk to him again around 4:00-5:00 to see what's up.

Don't forget to MAKE SURE the transportation shims/shipping blocks/donut looking things are removed from the shocks by the dealer!!!!!!! We've read too many times where a dealer in their haste has forgotten to do so.......

Undine is through the canal and into the Pacific ocean. Hurry up, captain!

Regarding the $1000 Mission to Drive credit, I asked my CA how to get it if I wasn't planning on financing/leasing. Answer: Finance the minimum loan amount of $7,500 and pay off after 6 months, and I won't have to give back the $1K credit.

So take the credit, pay whatever the up front loan fee is, plus about $15 in interest over 6 months. (0.9% APR for 24 months - about $70 total interest) Sounds like a deal to me.
