Pics of my new(to me) M3 sedan
I finally picked this up last week.
2008, 12k miles. most options, except sunroof, 19in wheels, and parking sensors. My question is, I have EDC, I know it is hard to mod the suspension, which I don't really want to do. However, I want to get 19in wheels. Will 19in wheels produce more wheel gap? [CODE]/CODE] [CODE]/CODE] [CODE]/CODE] [CODE]/CODE] [CODE]/CODE] |

Nice car. Congrats. I'm thinking less wheel gap but what the hell do I know.

Nice car. First mods I would do ASAP are rims and LCi tails.

Looks good! i would worry about putting the 19s on there u wont have a problem, but if you have more gap than you would like, adding some sport springs like H&R (for EDC) would look nice. Congrats again bro

Since the 18s have tires with taller sidewall, and the 19s have tires with shorter sidewall, I believe both wheel / tire combos have the exact same rolling diameter? So, wheel gap will be the same, ride height will be the same.

What he said is exactly right. The wheel gap and ride height will be almost identical. Larger wheels/lower profile tires will however make the wheel gap "appear" to be larger. It is an illusion caused by the larger diameter wheels. It would be no different than if you had the 19s straight from the factory.
