The dd crowd? I wish there was an smiley that pretended to jerk off while rolling its eyes. The reason people boo is because Vorsteiner took every gimmicky element they could think of and tossed it together into a convoluted mess with no real point; making one of the finest BMW designs look like crap. I guess us simple folk'll never understand the genius behind these out of the box "tuners".

Obviously this is not a daily driver and obviously it's not meant to be the same look we've seen. Appreciate it for what it is.

Great work guys.
Has nothing to do with daily driver. There is a difference between "out-of-the-box" design and "out-of-mind" design.

Everyone has different taste and entitled to their own opinions. It looks like one of those cracker jack toys to me. I've seen many extreme M3s, being different AND looking good doesn't have anything to do with overdoing it.

I have a restraining order with Vorsteiner.

A Vorsteiner part cannot be within 300ft of my car.

Can't agree more. If they wanted a little red they should of used some black time attack style wheels.

to the pple who criticize the colors, I think the color scheme is somehow influented by the porsche gt3 rs which isnt that bad. altough I wouldnt use those red roundels which make it look cheap.

It always irks me as well when others do that.

The car isnt so bad, just needs a better color scheme to it. IMO

Groomeister, thanks for that. I'll get on to the dealer tomorrow and see what they say. Presumably the aerial and amp will need fitting in the factory then? I can see them pushing back on it but to not be able to get Dab on a brand new car or be able to offer a genuine retrofit or something I thinks pretty lame. Given I'm forking out for the HK speakers to get best poss sound quality, it would be daft to need to live with fuzzy radio. I'll let people know how I get on so that anyone else in my position has a solution - hopefully!

Either way, I'll be interested to read the write-up when it's available.
