I have used P21S polishing soap to terrific effect. Very easy to use as well. Wet sponge, soap up sponge with polishing soap, scrub, wash off, dry, smile.

On an unrelated note, I think I need to buy a new charger for my Macbook. Often times, it doesn't charge when I connect it to my Macbook (so I have to fiddle with it until the green light comes on) and whenever I plug it into an outlet, it will spark...

if you buy a new one... make sure it's the adaptor meant for it. my buddy accidentally plugged my basic macbook charger into his macbook pro. battery went totally south after that. people at apple store said it had somethign to do with my charger not being enough wattage for his battery.

I was hoping to get the new style charger. The part that connects to the computer seems to be a lot more durable. |

Actually, now that I think about it, I use my moms charger from time to time and haven't noticed any problems. I wonder if our batteries have a similar wattage.
BTW, have any of you Mac guys upgraded to Lion? I've heard some pretty negative things about it. |

I used PC my whole life and decided to buy a Mac last year. It took me about two weeks to get used to the OS, but once I did, I was hooked. I'll never go back to Windows (as a personal computer). Everything about Mac feels so right. |

I have the new 2011 Macbook Pro, battery is no where near 11 hours. 4-6 of regular use at 80-100% brightness. Could say push it to 7hours maybe if you use 20-40% brightness and disable intensive apps / flash.

I usually get 6-7 hours out of mine, always on 100% brightness, and usually running a few programs at once.
I dumped my HDD and installed an SSD and let me tell you guys, it made a HUGE difference. The computer starts up and shuts down much faster, programs launch faster, the computer is whisper silent, it doesn't get nearly as hot, there is no chance of the SSD crashing (well, technically there is, but it's an astronomically low percentage), battery life is improved, etc... There are so many benefits to an SSD. I suggest that you guys all upgrade. |

I just think the hardware is overpriced. For the price I paid for the MBPro, I could have gotten a much faster PC. I probably feel this way because I'm a hardware engineer and I deal mostly with the insides of products, and not their pretty enclosures

It's true, you can get a PC with better specs for less, but there is more to Mac than just the specs. Not to sound like a fanboy, but Mac offers the entire package. The specs are good, they are built better than any PC, they come with great screens, an awesome OS, etc... |
