I'm getting it done at Sean's since I have minimal driveway space in town. If it rains, he agreed to let me keep it in his garage indefinitely, as long as he can also take a picture and make a thread on his LS1Tech forums titled "This is what a 1500hp garage looks like"

Not such a bad trade.

We really need to arrange an Texas ///M get together/photo shoot with the DFW & Austin Guys imho.

Austin would get my vote for location as the roads are fun, the scenery around the lake is awesome and we could do lunch at the Salt Lick!!

but industrial areas are so sweet IMO for car shoots. Garages, concrete, graffiti and what not rock!

Lake pics can be cool though too, Guess it's just each to his own...

Rain is no big deal on a newly detailed car. It rained on my car two days after my detail. I just washed it with Zaino soap and used one coat of Z2 Gloss Enhancer and one coat of Grand Finale spray. My car looks and feels as the day it was freshly detailed. The Zaino (was/polish) is great stuff.

I dont understand how weather stations/sites can forecast things so differently. Weather.com says thunderstorms all weekend.

We will be leaving promptly at 7:50 am. If you are too late and we already left the lott, proceed to Uptown Park and look for us. You might get lucky and be able to still park with the rest of the pack of M3s (and a Z06).
