Twitter Users!?

Hey guys Don't really post much around here but I lurk.

I wanted to see if anyone else on here uses twitter to talk about gaming? I use mine to talk about about competitive games and anything I'm currently playing pretty much! Some CoD, some WoW, and a little bit of everything!

I figured this would be a good way for us to interact outside the forums and get to know each other. Hit me with a follow and I'll follow you back! We can build up our numbers a bit higher while getting some cool people to follow and read about <3

Cheers,
Matt/BLiTZ

Sorry but I've never seen the purpose of twitter. Seems like most of it is for busybodies, and is pretty much useless. I'd get more information out of someone's AIM afk message.

Granted, I also don't use myspace or facebook. I keep my online affairs completely separate from my real living affairs. As an aside, I don't really know many pc gamers that use Twitter. Perhaps it is a console thing. It definately plays more toward social network sites and corporations than it does to typical gamers as they are pretty well connected already with each other.

It's actually getting quite common in both PC gamers and console gamers. It's a nice way to communicate some quick opinions or thoughts to others who are playing the same games. Now that the 'list' feature is out I think I'm listed in about 8 different ones so far. Basically just lists of 30-140 people all tweeting about gaming.

Really nice way to see what's going on in the sub-communities of gaming.

+1 Here's my account, but it's not very interesting.
