"Forum Wars" is looking for 2 M3's to do head to head runs against similar cars in LA
against similar cars like the RS4.
Maybe try to sneak in PG's stroker or tighties blown M3? I know there are better driver's than me out there. There was an instructor with a black M3 at the last AAA track event. http://www.6speedonline.com/forums/b...our-m5-m3.html Quote:

General bump. Cool. I'd post this in the M3 vs. section as well as it is very much about car vs. car and driver vs. driver. You might consider a more descriptive title as I did not find it clear from your title alone.

Wow too bad I'm not on the West Coast, I would've loved to do this. Just sucks they restrict it to DOT tires and probably stock brakes/chassis as well

Too bad it's not on the East Coast. Then I'd vote for KINGLEH, sure he might not have a supercharger or a stroker, but the man just won the Rolex series in Grand Am.
Driver > Car On Sunday I passed an F430 and a GT3 at Pocono in my M3 w/ the OEM PS2's and they were on Cup tires. Definitely wasn't the car.

Didn't know that about KINGLEH, cool. Isn't there another pro driver on this forum too. Was it Indycar? You know the guy who owns a bunch of super cars? Put one of those two behind the wheel of PG's car (no offense to your driving PG!), and let's win this. |

Yeah, Tony Kanaan is the Indy driver you speak of. Tony doesn't seem to be nearly as active of a member. Also, I know Leh tracks his M3, I'm not sure about Tony. Either way, you can't go wrong. Problem is Tony lives in FL and Leh in SC.

Did you guys read the flyer? It says E90 M3. That's going to rule out most of everybody here that's done big time performance mods. Tightie, PG, TK, KINGLEH, etc. all have E92s.

I don't think they realize the different model designations, but maybe they only want a sedan to run against the RS4?

Why do all the cool things happen on the west coast? I'd love to represent our little corner of the Internet and clean up, but I'm in Pittsburgh PA

saw this on audi world, im in the market for a 2nd hand RS4 or new M3.
this could come down to what i decide to buy. its quite hard decision! GL to the people, by the way on the audi forum im pretty sure its any BMW M3 not just E90, id take it as a type error. this is the thread from audiworld http://forums.audiworld.com/showthread.php?t=2765081 they say B7 RS4 cause its like 06-08 and there is no 09 model, so im pretty sure that lines up with the E92 |
