Warning Triangle Installation for MY 2009 E90 M3

The trunk lid linings for the 2008 and 2009 E90 are different. On the 2009, there is a place on the inside of the trunk lid for the warning triangle. On the 2008s, the triangle gets mounted on the drivers side of the trunk. Does anybody know what the part number for the triangle and any mounting hardware is? Thanks.

Thanks Technic! Do the brackets get mounted by the screws that seem to be already there in the trunk lid?

Those brakets are held by items circled 6, 7 and 8, a plastic screw, a screw holder and a base on both sides... can you see them in your trunk lid liner?

Are there safety triangles for the '08 E92? It's always a good idea to carry some, especially without a spare.

Sorry, but this is wrong.

For trunk lid cut out mounting, e.g. LCI sedans...

Warning Triangle: 71 60 6 770 487
Brackets (2): 51 49 7 167 548

This is the same triangle used in the 128i/135i by the way.

For left side trunk mounting, e.g. pre-LCI sedans and all coupes, at least up to MY2010...

Warning Triangle: 71 60 1 095 457
Brackets: 51 47 7 131 760 and 51 47 7 131 761

This is the same triangle used in the E46 and Z3 M Coupe.

Beware, there is an error in the ETK. It claims that a 2010 coupe uses the trunk lid cut out triangle and mounts. It doesn't. In fact the ETK shows both mount type as being applicable which is ridiculous since each works only with its respective triangle.

Yes, your car should use the left side trunk mount, see the part numbers in my other post. You'll either have to get it from Europe, eBay maybe (never seen the mounts), or LeatherZ (www.leatherz.com).
