Very interesting and informative analysis indeed - thanks!

I am also interested to do an ECU update as the only mod in my car and I was also considering AA. Are there any other reliable, trouble-free alternatives?

What will happen to the AA ECU upgrade if you bring your M3 and they upgrade your ECU software. DO you have to pay another $900+ to AA to upgrade the AA ECU again?

Hi Niqui,

As you can see from the reviews from other board members the software is a well worth it mod. It has been loaded on stock, and modded cars both with substantial gains in peak power and through out the power band. I can see your from MTL, and the drive down for a pulley install wont be worth it...but if you are interested let me know and we can work out a few options to suite your goal/budget at the same time as we are an authorized CDN AA dealer, on top of it I can load your software in house.

As for ECU updates, the software can be loaded/unloaded if you need a BMW update.

GR8000, there are many companies out there offering E9X products but reliability and customer service after point of sale is key. AAtuning.com is where you'd want to be.

I believe you get 2 or 3 reflashes included . I forget the exact number.

Any negatives, besides the warranty, with an ECU reflash? There's always a tradeoff.
