My Canadian spec E93 M3 came with Euro seat bottoms!!

One huge advantage to the E93, I sat in my buddys E92 M3 and the seats are two different worlds. It is exactly like a 335 seat bottom (sport package). Out of curiousity, What is the cost on the seat bottoms?

it still should be easy enough to change out the thigh supports. i wonder if they have to be stitched though. i know that bmw outsources their seats to a third party, so this could be a bit tricky trying to have a local dealer do an install.

i'm going to the local dealer this week and will get quotes on those part numbers in euro.

Most likely, I will have a local upholstery shop do the seat bottom conversion

Thanks for the info. As slammed said the Canadian E93 has the euro seat bottom, but the e90 doesn't. Also the CDN e90 comes with the euro non-split armrest. I wonder if it would be easier to source these parts out of Canada for the US owners?

Same in my E93 M3 in Canada.

Big Windy-
Do you have to get different foam cushions as well? That seems really cheap. (Especially because Americans won't have to pay VAT if we find a dealer that will ship them.)

I don't think it is for the 09's but this might be of interest to others:

This is a good question. When I went back on RealOEM to check, I realized that the first part number for the thigh support upholstery has no leather on it. So you have to order the corresponding leather piece as well. I don't have a quote on this, but I imagine it is easily 100 euro.

RoverActive or one of the board sponsors can get those for you, Rennspec for example can get you any Euro parts that you need / want.
