lol just what I call her. I mean goes back to the "happy wife/happy life" kind of deal. While we are financially stable, we're not that stable where I can just go spend $20k without her having any say so in it, especially with a family.

I figured as much. I've tried calling BPM to try to figure out how I go about doing that, but no one answered. I've never messed with tunes and what I read on their site, they send a cable and the software and you do it yourself? I mean if the previous owner didn't provide that, is there a way I can without having to pay the whole $1k? I have a cable I used to use with BMWLogger from when I had my E46, I figured I could use the same to clear codes on this one too.

Usually the cables are married to the cars VIN so I would see if the previous owner still has it.
