The S2000 is gorgeous but the DCT/M3 must be a revelation

Space Grey is great too, too many white cars around already

I was driving down 124st today and noticed a fellow AW M3 driving towards me. I gave the double highbeam to say hi but I got nothing back... such a sad day... *ahem*

So I just called Karmac and they quoted me $530 to install my springs. This doesn't sound outrageous to me and I'll likely go with it. Any thoughts?

Also, did anyone get pictures from the BMW Show and Shine on the 14th?

Taht is a great price. The dealer would be double I bet.

We did get some pics but not many good ones of other cars. I would say most of the attention of the show was towards the new M3's but then again I am a little subjective on that.

Harbuksh' rear wheels are huge, looks great on car. Make mine look stock.

I've joined the Dark Side.

I should have my 2010 GTR in about 10 days or so.

I am keeping the M3 though.

Will you guys still talk to me?

Looking forward to getting the GTR for sure.

Sherwood Nissan is the highest volume Nissan dealership in Canada.

These guys have 2 qualities that I've never seen maintained throughout the entire purchasing experience.

Honesty & Integrity.

From everyone I talked to.

3 salesman passing by, my salesman, the sales manager the GM, the accessories guy and the finance manager who took my deposit.

I paid MSRP not a cent more. European is doing the tint & 3M. Sherwood is giving me the 5 window tint for $500 & an extensive 3M for $1300.

Mills Nissan on the other hand for the same car was 17,000 more

Mills- $2600 doc fee. Sherwood was $269

Mills- $4000 for tint & 3M. Sherwood- $1800

Mills- $800 for floormats . Sherwood- $0 they come with the car sir

Mills- $2600 for the "nitrogen package". Sherwood- "what the fuck is a nitrogen package?" (exact words-made me laugh at this point)

Mills- 10k deposit for test drive. Sherwood- "sir, I can see that you're serious, we should go for a drive. I'll get the OK from the GM first though"

Mills- "the car does NOT have telescopic steering sir". Sherwood- "I'm not sure, lets find out"- it does haves telescopic steering

Mills- "the nav is NOT touchscreen". Sherwood "Of course it's touch screen"

You get the idea. Mills was a fucking joke. I didn't even want the car after that crappy experience.

Sad thing is that the Mills Salesman was OK. His "Sales Manager" was an ass.

Anyway, Sherwood Nissan IS a different dealership. I nearly had a tear in my eye at the end. The experience really was that good!

Very good to hear a happy story about a car purchase

I have had nothing but good experiences with Calgary BMW

Mills is one on the Southside right, out by Ellerslie now I think?

I'll make sure to keep a wide line from them.

Mills is just off Ellerslie.

Too bad since they're about a 20 minute walk from my house.

I thought about giving them a second chance last night, but Sherwood just did everything so right. They're entire team was on the same page... that can't be easy.

$2600 for doc fee?!?!?! That's unheard of!! Window tint is a bit more than what I was expecting but dealership has to make money. I did 7 windows for $220 and I couldn't be any happier. (just recently got a ticket for front tint though, kinda suck!)

Congrats on your new purchase! I am sure the GTR is a blast!

Damn, I wish I could have seen that. I'm loving IND's Red Death E90. I'm starting to want a red car again... but no... must save it for a proper Fcar. Oh, also thanks for the link to eshine! I got a couple of waffle microfiber towels and they're fantastic. Dried my entire car with one towel and with plenty to spare. Time to try out some new items...

Oh, and Happy Canada Day! The M3 is minty clean and I got a chance to wave to a black E90 sitting on OEM 19's when I was leaving the Hughes wand wash bay on Jasper Ave.

Well, boys, looks like the 295's in the rear are going to bite the dust. The rub in the rear is really making me antsy. Going down to 285's. Kind of wierd, something about the way the PZeros are constructed. IND told me that they were very surprised to hear that I was having issues with a 295 size. Talked to TireRack and the cross sectional width of the PZeros is bigger relative to the same size in a PS2.

Oh well, better talk to some guys on the R8 or Porsche forums to see if they need some near virgin rubber.

Anyone go cruising today? I have literally been in front of my laptop and TSN all day with the NHL free agency. I am surprised my wife hasn't killed me yet.
