Anyone else on the Falstaff?

Glad to be off the dock and heading to the West Coast!

I am on that boat. It left on May3rd and my dealer told me that it should be here in 3 weeks?

I was hoping that it would be more like 2 weeks.

I just found out from my CA that my car is also on the Flastaff. Nickw, just curious which dealer are you buying from? Mine is BMW NW.

Hi, I ordered my car through BMW Seattle. Last year I got a X5 from BMW Bellevue but even after being on a list for 8 months there I hadn't gotten a slot yet and Seattle was able to hook me up faster.

I have a silver grey e46 now... moving over to basically same color (space grey, mdct, 19s, carbon roof, black int. etc.)

Hopefully our cars will make the trip from the VPC quickly and share the same truck on their way up here.

Hmmm looks like Falstaff still hasn't reached the VPC. Originally it was scheduled for 28th. Started showing 29th a few days ago but still hasn't arrived. Hope they didn't decide to turn around

Man this last stretch of waiting is a killer.

according to my dealer PH is backed up - he has cars from 5 boats all come in at once and the place is a traffic jam.

Yeah don't know if this is a common quirk but the 800 number now says my car is at the port awaiting a shipping vessel just like it was back in Germany. So my status has gone backwards

. Customer service says that they can't track since it got on the boat. My CA is out so will cross my fingers and hope that it makes it through the VPC and to Seattle for next weekend.

I am on the Falstaff. AW coupe loaded.

My dealer said that the estimated arrival date was 5/28 but that it didn't arrive until the 2nd. My dealer said that the total float time was 23 days. Has anyone confirmed that the Falstaff is in dock?

Just found out im on the Falstaff and website now says "At Preparation Center"

According to the WW site the boat arrived 1 day late the 29th but departed on the 30th. Maybe the VPC is backed up and it took that long to process the cars in but the boat left on 5/30.

My web status didn't switch to at preperation center until today.

Phone status still wierdly lists status as if it was back on dock in Germany 'At the port awaiting a shipping vessel'

My CA is off

I was on the Falstaff and I live in Denver - Lord knows how long they take to truck these beasts to the dealers. I'm wanting my car! What exactly happens at the port of entry and how long does that take before they truck them out? I can see them sitting there for 3-5 days.

(I better move some money around or I won't be buying anything

800# says in transport (crossing my finger this means on truck to dealer)

According to a rep at the 800 number, BMW-800 doesn't track past that port of exit.

Your car could be offloaded at the dealership by a meth smoking truck driver and you wouldn't know it by calling BMW 800#.

Bums me out because I'm ready to DRIVE. I haven't been excited about my delivery until this week. Probably because it always felt so far away. Might be here today or Monday!

Friday 4:16 MST Denver, no car yet. My salesperson know to call me the instant she hears.

The minute I get the call I will post a quick blurb here and then go take delivery. I think each of us should promise to do the same. I carry an iphone so I can do it on the fly.

Im amazed that dave hasn't gotten his car yet, in CALIFORNIA????. The boat arrived over a week ago!

I'm thinking he needed a replacement piece of bodywork and a partial paint job because an anchor bumped into his ride.

I just spoke with my saleperson who said that it left California Friday with a truck full of cars for Denver. No other dropoff cities. It will be here the 10th! That is Tuesday.

What the heck? How does a truck full of cars take 5 days to get to colorado? I can make that drive in 12 hours in a jeep, and those trucker take crytal meth. I'd just have a cup of coffee.
