Volk TE37 - OG Version - 18" - Titanium Silver - As New

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
Sold

Location:
✓ Will Ship

Item Interest
What I have here is a set of OG TE37's in rare Ti Silver. I picked up the wheels a month ago and used them less than 100 miles. I have two other sets of wheels and would rather allocate this money to another modification. I had never seen Ti Silver before I got these wheels and I must say that it's now tied with Bronze for my favorite Volk finish.

** Please review my iTrader feedback (see link under my avatar on the left). I pride myself in honest, no-surprise sales. I ship quickly and the product will be as represented!

Wheel Model:
Volk TE37 - Forged - OG Version - Titanium Silver (bright satin silver)

Note: In the interest of full disclosure - These are a 100% authentic "barn find" set of 2006 production wheels (see production date in pics of stickers). I recently purchased them from a guy that had them in his shop, new, in boxes for 10 years. As a result there are some unique qualities to these wheels. They use hub rings (metal) and do not have the usual stampings on the face of the wheel (modern TE37's say "forged", "monoblock" and "Rays Eng" on the face). Rest assured - they are real - They have the stickers, came in proper Volk boxes, there are stampings on the rear hub area (see pics) and all of the usual pamphlets / warranty cards came with them. In addition they are very light - replicas are boat anchors. Note that the finish of the wheels on the inner barrels is textured. In addition these things had been sitting in a hot shop for 10 years. Consequently the stickers are not well adhered. I ended up pulling some of them off to avoid losing them.

Size:
18 x 9.5 et35
18 x 10.5 et22

Condition:
As new with only one single 2mm blemish (see pic below). Less than 100 miles of use.

Big Brake Clearance:
TE37's are known to provide some of the best BBK clearance. I have 355mm Brembos and there is 1/2" of clearance all around.

Tires:
Dunlop Z2 Star Spec

Size:
265/35/18
275/35/18

Condition:
Approximately 2k miles of use

(2) have 8/32 tread depth
(2) have 10/32 tread depth

All dated 2014

No abnormal camber wear. Slight rub marks on the inside of one of the rear tires from the previous wheels that they were installed - cosmetic, and very minor.

Location:
San Diego, CA (Pacific Beach)

Price - Wheels and Tires:

SOLD!

Thank You!

This is an absolute steal at this price.

Prospective buyers: You won't find a more honest seller on these forums than Slicer. He is like the Federal Reserve; his word is gold. Buy with confidence.

Thank you sir. I must say that this marks the first time that I have been compared to the federal reserve!

I have seen these in person. I don't think anyone will find a nicer set of OG TEs like this again. The finish/color is beautiful and unique.

i see the offset for the front is a bit weird vs the typical 20-22 offset for e92, guess a 10mm space in the front would take care of the issue tho right?

also you will ship right? wonder how this color would look on a space grey....too silver maybe?

I would prefer to sell as a package. Could you PM me closer to the time you plan to be in Carlsbad again? I may be willing to split the tires if I still have them in two weeks.

Yes a 10mm or 12mm spacer would work well for the front. I'm absolutely willing to ship. This color would look fantastic on space gray. It's a very bright, satin silver. Seriously my favorite silver wheel finish.

Send me a PM if you wish to discuss further. Thanks!
