Ruff - Here's the website, go to the customer center and type in the name of your ship for a schedule. It's not totally straighforward but not too hard to figure out either.

Does anyone out there have a confirmed production date yet for a convertible with M-DCT? I was told that the first production will not be until June 8 week. Is this true?

I've heard from multiple sources that it will be coupe only DCT production until June. I haven't heard a specific date in June.

Ya. It sucks. I was just reading all the other threads on your boat and madame butterfly being delayed ... so decided to add the ETA info to the list.

At least you guys can track your boats. With the West Coast, NYK boats you can't track the thing .... so for all I know, my boat - Coral leader could have sunk !! ;-)

Definitely post a thread to main forum when you get it Sgt B. I think its pretty cool that the first forum member (as far as I know) to take delivery of M-DCT will be from US.

I definately will post some stuff when I get home. I just wish all my M-DCT brothers were receiving theirs at the same time.

P.S Just found out my digital camera records video...what you learn when you read the frick'n manual.. Anyway, I will have the wife shoot some video while driving and shifting.

Senior B, no pressure but we're all counting on you.

Not that I'm going to change my order or anything, my completed car is enjoying the smell of waffles while trapped on a ship in Belgium.

My dad (also a Bimmer fan) said about 4 years ago a car carrying cargo ship actually sank in the Atlantic somewhere. I don't remember hearing that story but I haven't searched for any info on it either.

Damn...they just don't want us to have M-DCT in the states. My ship is now delayed 2 days to 3/31 and VPC in South Carlolina has 4500 BMW's waiting to be processed and they can only process 455 cars per day. So now instead of getting my car a week from tomorrow it may be another week. Looks like it won't be in my hands until April 9th-12th.
