In the market for a S/c m3. Can someone point me what to look for.

Coming from an n54 335i to a S/c m3. Test drove a couple and thinking of picking one up thats already modified. Besides the awesome Rod Bearings issues anything else i need to look for around the 50,000 mark?

Probably twins have something to do with twin turbos on the N54?

So by "every other post" you mean ONE SINGLE POST?

I have two questions.

1) Why the hyperbole?

2) If there is a 90% chance of a problem why would any rational person consider it?

Wow, bunch of judgmental cranky bastards in here. Just be sure to change the oil regularly. You may want an ice chiller since you're in Texas to keep the temps down. Welcome! I came from a 335 3 years ago and never looked back.

He didn't come from an 335 and he doesn't need advice. He is obviously trolling hence the "cranky" non serious remarks.

Will do, the dealership that its at don't know anything about the car since its pretty modified. Will do an oil analysis on it to make sure motor is okay and change the oil. Its got a ESS vt-650 with meth. I am not sure i want to keep that on the car. Any idea how one would go about re-tunning the car after removal of the meth kit?
