Need Paint Touched Up. Had a Boo Boo

I accidentally knocked a 5 inch deep scratch in the hood of my e92 swapping the hood vents. yes I wrapped the screw driver in a few layers of electrical tape.

anyone recommend a body shop that can repair this reasonably in San Diego area?

Is it through the clear? Step 1 is to wet sand it until the scratch is either gone, good enough to live with or you burn through the clear. Then take to the body shop if needed.

You can try this guy. I used him before and the work was great. Not sure if he goes to SD because he is out of Orange County. He may know someone in your area though.
Jim 949-632-5565. Hope this helps!

Thanks I'll try him out. A local shop that has done M3's quoted me $1200. I can get a hood off the forums for half that. I'll try touch up paint first. Just want it to fade 50% or so and it won't be hardly noticeable.
