First experience wheel to wheel racing this past weekend.

So I got the opportunity to have a driver spot in a friend's LeMONs car this past weekend. I had an absolute blast. 2100lbs Honda Del Sol with a B18C motor, aggressive clutch type LSD, and an aluminum flywheel. The car was a blast to drive. I drove 2 hours on the first day and almost 2.5 hours on the second day.

If you ever have the opportunity to try it, I highly recommend it.

Just wanted to share some media with you guys.

The video is from my first day so I was a bit timid on passing. It's challenging because the range of driver skill is vast. Over time I started to learn who I could trust getting close to and who I should stay away from. I was far more aggressive in passing on the second day, but sadly my go pro died only 15 minutes into my stint.

Congrats! I NEVER thought I'd love racing as much as I do. My season starts in 3 weeks and I can't wait to get back in the car. How'd your team place?

Yea it's a blast. I can imagine how much fun/challenging it would be with cars that are of similar spec and with better drivers all around.

We placed 29th out of like 170, but was held off track for a lot of BS.

Well that's pretty good for your first time out! LeMons is infamous for the BS-calling, so I'm not surprised to hear you were held. I've been held once (enduro, my crew spilled a drop of gas) and it was the longest 5 minutes of my life. Better drivers & similarly spec'd cars means it's intense.
