E90 carbon fiber door panels
If you guys have seen my builds you know I love carbon fiber. After having a headache with dealing with the previous company making custom carbon parts for me (wish was garbage quality, ridiculous turn around time, very unresponsive once they had my parts. Yes over 6 f*cking months waiting. ) There were pits all over the clear which I had to pay another paint shop to sand and re-clear. Anyways I won't post the company to avoid any forum drama but feel free to pm me and I can link you to the feedback section as many others were not happy either.
Anyways, I found a better supplier. Not only top notch quality but probably the best service in the industry. You can find him here: http://instagram.com/din_mann Or email him for parts: dinmann@live.com Here's the "before" picture. Here's the new product skinned from an e90 door panel. They're the same as e90 m3. I went with 4x4 3k weave. Removing the panels is very easy. Next to the old panel. Letting the adhesive set. Front panels have a few more parts to it. Installed. I'll be changing the silver carbon trims later. Fitment was 100% spot on. Here's some bonus pics from a few years back. I had the Challenge dry carbon door panels for the e92 m3. They were very light. My only issue was the door would have to be slammed harder to close due to to the extra gap from the panels. Challenge panels in 1x1 weave

I've been lucky enough to see the new 4x4 door panels in person and they are absolutely SICK. All the new pieces going on the E90 look amazing, and the fitment is perfect.
Just when you thought this M3 couldn't get any better, he has to go and take it a step further. LOL

Dinnman makes nice stuff.
But I don't get it. You post about having headaches w/ another shop but then write that you won't put their name here. Why not? Why wouln't you want others to be aware of a crappy shop to avoid what you went through? If you got burned why should someone else? Who cares? Tell us who! |

Sued for what? If you pay a business for services rendered that are subpar you have every right to let others know and post your bad experience.

... So if you go to a store and purchase a service/product and have a bad experience you have to suck it up and keep silent? LOL
You have every right to voice your opinion and let others know of the shitty customer experience. Some shitty companies may try and come after you, but it would be unfounded at that point. I urge you to think otherwise and not fear what could happen from expressing yourself. |

Online defamation law Eventhough there is no intension to it, because you tell your own oppinion. At the end it's really hard to prove that the product wasn't as expected and VERY expensive for you to do so. Lets keep this thread clean and really concentrate on these beautyful door panels. |

Google? C'mon. Let's just leave it at that. Your law info comes from google. Defaming is not defaming if you sell me a crap part. It's called reality. In any event, Nice door panels OP |

I can't imagine any weight savings as I am pretty sure Dinmann is using overlays on the original parts. This is not a true CF piece. Still looks awesome though!

Oh OP just wanted to ask you about the green theme, is there a certain reason behind it and how did you manage to get the green theme into your BMW emblems? Stickers or integrated?
Thanks in advance! |

Thanks! Unfortunately it does not save any weight and just for cosmetics as it is just real carbon fiber overlayed over oem panels. I believe the top layer of the oem skin was removed.
If you want to save weight you would have to go dry carbon like the Challenge ones I had on the e92, but I didn't really like the fitment compared to what I have now. It would have to be made from a mold. It's possible but would take more time/ money to build. I just wanted something that didn't look so bland since my whole interior has been modified.
