RIDICULOUS amount of wheel hop

I've never felt it as bad as tonight. violently shook the car and maybe even contributed to a nasty grind on the 1-2 shift. I don't consider what I'm doing abusing the car; I'm not even launching it from a stop, just flooring it from about 10 or 15. I realize these aren't purpose built race cars but for a pure bred sports car that's had 25 fucking years to work this shit out: this is absolutely unacceptable.

You think its bad on the M3 (which I don't feel at all) try a Porsche 997. The rear end feels like its going to break loose from its mounting points.

I noticed wheel hop when its wet not on dry pavement with the M3. I find it to be not bad for a car with IRS.

However, now you know why people who like to drag race like the solid rear axle.

Dave I know you're a bit of a mustang guy yourself. This repeated occurrence is making me seriously consider replacing the m3 with a BOSS 302
