I am merely asking for some details on the product you are selling. I will play by your rules and PM you.

i wonder why! my guess? to cover up the fact that the seller changed his mind and decided to sell local. and try to cover the fact by saying locals had approached him first, which based on who he sold it to, is not true. i have no doubt i was the first to PM him and i was the first to post that i was interested. Malek, next time you put a for sale thread, please make sure you know what conditions you want, and include them in the listing, and try to stick to them. i know i was the first to approach you and i had PMd you that all i needed was your paypal email prior to Dave07997S contacting you. Even he admitted that when he said " I know I came to the party late." so getting him to delete his above mentioned post is just unprofessional, so is selling to someone after i had approached you first. |

I was kidding when I posted it..then I changed my mind and felt I shouldn't joke about someones sale so I deleted the post. I didn't buy the exhaust nor did I leave the OP a PM regarding the exhaust as it seems that someone local had already had a PM sent out. Now you know why I deleted my facetious post..someone would take it the wrong way. Sorry for the confusion.. dave

2 days later ( after I had contacted him and agreed on price and asked for his paypal email so I could send payment) He posted "Got all pm's and have been replied to. Entertaining locals first due to convenience, and locals were first to contact about exhaust as well." He has yet to respond to my PM, in the meantime I missed a chance to buy a stock oem muffler for $50 cuz I was waiting for his response, so yes I am pissed because I ended up without the stock exhaust nor this one, through no fault of my own. So yes I can't force him to ship, but I was simply going by what he said, till he changed his mind.and I did post the first reply on thread So i have every right to blast him. It's common forum courtesy to sell to the whoever contacts you earlier, if they meet your requirements, which I did, till he changed his mind. Had he at least responded and said no shipping I would have bought the local oem muffler and modded it myself. |

Not sure why there is drama here, but there are 17 people locally ahead of you to purchase this exhaust.
Simply put, whoever shows up first, pays first, gets te system. If nobody shows up to purchase it, then I would be willing to ship. The key word is "willing". Meaning that if I must ship, I will. I do apologize for any confusion or inconvenience this may have caused you, but you missing out on another purchase of 50 dollars is not something that I caused, that was your choice in the end. I replied to everyones pm's in a timely manner daily (47 pm's now since this thread was posted). Again, to be clear. I have spoken to many on the phone, I don't know who is who from the board as everyone introduces themselves by their actual name on the phone. Whoever takes it first will get it. That's usually how it works.

Will do brotha. I will PM you a bit later. The buyer should be coming in today to get the exhaust. If it falls through, then there are a few others that had committed to the exhaust locally. I would safely consider this exhaust sold at this point.

My specific question is if the steel wire is removed from the short perforations, and replacing all the packing material, if noise is a bit reduced from blocking all long perforations? Most folks are doing it from the top now, so that's not new anymore. And they're welding sleeves, rather than cutting tubing and replacing with solid one. I'm pretty sure those were your 'secrets', but let's hear them. Thanks. |
