Stick with OEM. I purchased Weather Tech thinking it was going to be thicker, heavier and stronger from previous experience. Boy was I wrong. I've purchased Weather Tech matts throughout the yrs. My first 1 was in 2003 for my 350z, than in 2007 for my E46 M3 and now for my 2010 M3. The quality just gets worst and worst as the yrs go by. Back in 03 the matt logo says Cannon and the trim was in red. It was really nice, thick, heavy and rubber quality was great. Than in 07 the red trim was gone and the matt logo says Weather Tech. Quality of the matt was still good up to par like the Cannon. This year when I purchased it for my E92, OMG the quality is borderline trash. The rubber felt so cheap like the matts you find at Walmart. I can't believe Weather Tech downgraded their quality so much. They're so lite and thin now that they move all over the place. What a dissapointment. If I had known how shltty they were I wouldve never paid that exptra money over OEM.

Especially considering their great price; cheaper than the ones for my Accord . Plus they don't have the industrial look of the WeatherTechs, which I don't like nor need.
OP, I always use Tischer; great prices and service. Remember both the rubber mats and rubber trunk mat are not listed for the M3; need to order them for an E92 coupe. I order the rubber trunk mat gray, and although not a perfect match, looks much better than black, and covers much more on the sides than the 'M3' one. I paid about $150 delivered for the set of 4 floor mats and the trunk mat. Hope this helps. |
