Anybody have a DIY for the keywhole cover?

Just saw the instrsuctions on bimmian.com

Do i have to remove the whole cylinder or can the keywhole cover just pop out? I remember on my G35 it was just clips. If anyone can shed some light please let me know. thanx.

Edit: The youtube video i saw is not for the M3. The M3 does not have the little hole inside the door. I cant see the instructions for the M3 from where i am right now. Anyone have anything please let em know.

That little hole is for the sedan.

For the coupe, I just pealed back the rubber trim and you'll see the hole there. Just play with the allen wrench (or was it a torx screw driver?) and it'll unscrew. I used what ever they used on the sedan. You don't need to unscrew it all the way, but no big deal if you do since you can grab the screw once it's out.
Then just push the rubber surround back on.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

Yup, I actually got it. Found out how to do it earlier. Easy job. Much cleaner look. And its a perfect fit.
