Nitto publishes their tread depth when the tire is new, and I am sure it is the same across the entire section of the tire. Why are you asking this quesiton?

Yes, the tread is thinner on the outer edge.

INVO's? I don't think so... perhaps the NT-05s.

Hello,

They are definitely thinner on the outer edge. I went to replace my Nitto 555's and I had a problem with multiple sets of the 555's. Long story short, I had to make a choice, either the INVO's or another brand.

After talking to some people with the INVO's and talking to my wheel guy and my tire guy, I was convinced that the outer edge will wear very fast and will be bald in a matter on months. (At least the way I drive!)

So I went with Yoko S-Drives. And I love them so far. I have always ran nittos, but once I heard that the 555's were discontinued and the INVO's were the replacement, I had to switch.

3 months later, my tires still look brand new. I also think the INVO's are really really ugly, but thats JMHO...
