If you're on the stock wheels and putting it on a E9X M3, it'll probably rub. I'm running 15mm all around on stock springs, and the rear has like, 1mm of clearance. Although I don't rub, everyone that looks at my wheels swears that I should be.
That's probably what Harris is worried about. Getting it for your 550i? Or an aftermarket set of wheels and changing offset? |

More stress on the axle. Over 15mm and it causes serious stress. It's always best to not use spacers, but if you must due to looks then try to keep it minimum as possible (less than 15mm).
