Front End Sound

Hi all I was wondering has anyone heard a thump coming from the front end of the car when you hit a bump. It seems like every time I hit some sort of bump in the road the front end dips and I hear a thump almost like the front struts are not reacting quickly. Also i have noticed that when i am on the highway the car seems like its floating if you know what i mean. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I have never run into that. Do you have EDC? If so, what setting are you running when this happens?

your shocks may be out if it is bottoming out already. Nothing a dealer can't fix

I have the same thing, I hear a little bit of a clunk sometimes over bumps at very slow speeds. And on Comfort I can feel the suspension get a little floaty at 80mph. On the highway I almost always use Normal to avoid that. I think it may just be the nature of EDC.

Have your EDC "connectors" checked.......seems to be the most common fix for EDC issues.........if you have I-Drive you should get an EDC Failure message.........Joe

I was going to say exactly that... most of those kind of "thump" noises are blown shocks.
