Hi guys, we wanted to respond to the above.
When we initially launched it in 2011 it was made in the UK. 2 years later this company unfortunately went bankrupt. Production was moved to Supersprint shortly afterwards as Evolve became a distributor for Supersprint products in the UK. Since 2013 it has always been made by Supersprint. You are welcome to confirm this with Supersprint directly but I've included a screen shot of a conversation between Imran and Alessio who is one of the owners of Supersprint and also head of R&D. Please note we have never used or claimed to use HJS cats. I am not sure where this has come from. From 2011 and August 2018 the 200 cell cats we used since inception of the product became unavailable. We then switched to the current supplier. Our requirements for the cats are that they are 200 cell, flow well enough to make the power required of them and pass the annual UK emissions test which the current cats we use do. During this period we have only ever had to use a different cat which was a lot more expensive due to non availability of our usual product and that was on 5 X-Pipes manufactured in July 2021. After this we were able to switch back to the cats we have been using since 2018. We have never introduced another E9X M3 X-Pipe from a different manufacturer and claim it is made by Supersprint. This would destroy our relationship with Supersprint and would obviously not be good for our reputation or business. Supersprint continue to make our S85 and S62 headers to this day and we are still the exclusive dealer/distributor for Supersprint products in the UK. The product has proven to be extremely popular, with only one issue where a customer purchased it, used it then did a charge back (which has left our bank account) and STILL has the item. If the OP is that customer (Gino M) could you please return the item. |

Do you know why the clamp design was changed? That is where all the speculation started from for me.
